the writer introduces his quotation as a look back in the past and uses the person being interviewed as a way to invoke memories. the writer describes the circumstances in the paragraph before then using the quotes to describe the moment sufficiently. the writer then describes why the person is there and why he is important to the story. the only changes i would make is introduce the quote better by giving more of a context of the story and definitly setting it up better.
